The RahCel Story

Rahul & Celine first met in San Francisco in 2019, at a Singapore Day event. They were friends for a couple of years (remember Covid?), and they started dating after Celine moved to San Francisco in 2021. They have embarked on multiple adventures over the years, from crawling into underground caves to a hot air balloon ride in Turkey! Rahul & Celine got engaged in Nov 2024, and are looking forward to many more milestones in life together, starting with their dream wedding in Tahoe!

Frequently Asked Questions

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Please aim to arrive by 3.30PM - this gives you ample time to find parking and seating.

The ceremony will begin at 4:00PM sharp. Since it is an intimate ceremony, please be considerate of the photographers and other guests if you were to arrive after the ceremony has begun. The ceremony will take ~30 minutes, followed by photo sessions.

What should I bring?

Sunglasses are strongly recommended for the outdoor ceremony. Depending on the weather and temperature, please bring a shawl or formal jacket since it may be windy by the lake. If you are staying at the Tahoe Ridge Resort, there are plenty of amenities available for your use, so pack accordingly!

Is there a dress code or theme?

We request that guests dress in Formal Attire. Ladies, please avoid an all-white dress.

Bonus points if you are able to match the theme of the lakeside wedding with a splash of blue (water) or beige (sand).

Where should I stay?

We are able to get discounted rooms from Tahoe Ridge Resort. It is ~20 minutes drive from the ceremony at Lakeside Beach.

Please reach out to us for a link to book at the discounted rate. The room costs ~$256 for 2 nights.

Is there parking available at Lakeside Beach?

Yes, limited free parking is available at Lakeside Beach on a first come, first serve basis. More parking can be found in the adjacent roads. Please plan for sufficient time to find parking especially if you have to park further away and walk back over.

Alternatively, try and carpool over to the beach!

Is there parking available at Tahoe Ridge Resort?

Guests staying with us at TRR will have parking passes allocated to their rooms.

Other guests can request access to the venue at the guardhouse, which will let you park right next to the clubhouse.

If parking at TRR is full, there is a large parking lot next to the guardhouse, from which you can request for a complimentary shuttle service to take you up to the Ridge Clubhouse (it’s a long and steep walk!). You can make this request via the guardhouse or by calling (775) 580-6591.

Are there EV Charging facilities nearby?

Yes, there is a Tesla Supercharger near Lakeside beach. There are also complimentary level 2 chargers (~5x NACS, ~2x J1772) in the Tahoe Ridge Resort garages if you are a hotel guest.

Can I bring a plus one?

The invitation you received would have already included your plus one! If we missed anyone, please reach out to us.

Are children welcome?

Yes, but please let us know during RSVP if you will be bringing them - it will help us plan logistics for them.

Are there any plans for the weekend?

We are lucky that many of the guests know each other. Feel free to stay the weekend and plan activities amongst yourselves! Let us know what you have planned, and we may join you for the fun! We are checking out on Sun (Oct 5th) and traveling with our families.
